What is Your Policy on Updates and Upgrades

All updates to the same version of fmESignature Link (DocuSign Edition) are free. For example if you purchased v1.x of fmESignature Link (DocuSign Edition) you will be able to download any updates to v1 that we subsequently release for free. Updates might include new API examples or changes as a result of updates DocuSign make to their API. We also make changes based on customer feedback/requests for new features and examples.

When a new version of fmESignature Link (DocuSign Edition) is released you can download this using the download link from your original order confirmation email - that link will always download the most recent version. You can use a FileMaker developer tool like BaseElements or FMPerception to generate a comparison report between your original version of fmESignature Link and a later update to identify the elements that have changed and need updating (we can also produce one of these using BaseElements for you if required).

If we release a new major version of fmESignature Link this will be a paid upgrade. For example if you purchased v1.x of fmESignature Link and we release v2 and you wish to upgrade to that version you will be able to upgrade to this for a significant discount. All customers will receive a discount coupon from us to use for upgrading to a later version when it is released.
