Can I use a different Redirect URI for the DocuSign App?

[N.B. This article only applies to fmESignature Link v1.36 or earlier]

When setting up your DocuSign App on the DocuSign website you need to enter a Redirect URI - in our Getting Started guide we instruct you to enter https://docusign.com as we have hardcoded this URI into the fmESignature Link file. If you enter a different Redirect URI you will get an error when you click the Request Application Consent button informing you of an issue with the Redirect URI (e.g. "the redirect URI is not registered properly with DocuSign").

You cannot modify the Redirect URI in the trial version of fmESignature Link as this is locked, but you can modify the unlocked version that you purchase. If you wish to change the default Redirect URI to another one simply edit the Request Application Consent script and change the hardcoded Redirect URI to your preferred value.

You will have to change this twice as this is set for both the Sandbox and the Production environments - look for the 2 Set Variable script steps that set the $url variable and edit the calculation for these by changing the redirect_uri parameter to your preferred value:
