Can I set the Xero Contact as a Customer or Supplier?

When uploading from fmAccounting Link (Xero Edition) to Xero you cannot update the IsSupplier and IsCustomer fields in Xero. These are "read only" fields that you can download but not update as they are set dynamically when a Xero Contact has an Invoice or Bill attached.
