DocuSign Integration Go Live Process
Once you have completed the setup/testing phase in the Sandbox environment and are ready to switch to the live production environment you will you need to first make 20 successful API requests from the Sandbox environment. These can include sending envelopes, checking the status of an envelope, downloading the form data etc.
Once these have been successfully completed you can then apply for a review and move your Integration from the sandbox to a production account. When you go-live to move your app to the production environment its integration key is duplicated in the production environment rather than moved. This means that you can continue to use that integration key in the development (demo) environment as well as in production.
You will need to enter the Production Integration App details into the DocuSign Production Preferences in the Setup screen:
Authorization Code Grant (v1.4 or later):
Enter the Integration Key (usually the same as for the Sandbox App), Client Secret and Redirect URL and click the Authenticate button which will open a new Card window and take you to the DocuSign login page where you can login and grant approval to the fmESignature Link file. N.B. You will be logging into the Production environment here NOT the Sandox.
JWT Grant (v1.36 or earlier):
When updating your Production Integration App use the following URI for the Redirect URIs : https://docusign.com
Enter your API Username, Integration Key (usually the same as for the Sandbox App), API Account ID and Private Key and click the Request Application Consent button – it will open your web browser and redirect you to the DocuSign production environment where you can login and grant consent. N.B. You will be logging into the Production environment here NOT the Sandox.
Make sure you change the Current Environment to Production instead of Sandbox:
You can then test sending a new envelope from fmESignature Link using the DocuSign Production environment to confirm everything is working correct.
