Does fmEcommerce Link (WooCommerce Edition) support WooCommerce Webhooks?

Yes - fmEcommerce Link (WooCommerce Edition) currently supports the following Webhooks:

• New Order: have new orders automatically pushed/created in your copy of fmEcommerce Link
• New Customer: have new customers automatically pushed/created in your copy of fmEcommerce Link
• Update Order: have existing orders automatically updated in your copy of fmEcommerce Link when they are updated in WooCommerce
• Update Customer: have existing customers automatically updated in your copy of fmEcommerce Link when they are updated in WooCommerce

If you are new to webhooks we recommend using the free OttoFMS product from Proof+Geist. Once installed you can register a new webhook url in a few minutes - see the WooCommerce Webhooks using OttoFMS guide for instructions on setting up OttoFMS webhooks for fmEcommerce Link (WooCommerce Edition).

We also include PHP files that can be used for receiving the WooCommerce Webhooks notifications for both the FileMaker PHP API and the Data API. You can get further details and instructions on setting these up in our Webhooks Guide.

You can also use Claris Connect Webhooks instead of the supplied PHP webhook files. If you are a Claris Connect customer you can setup Webhooks in Claris Connect to receive incoming updates from WooCommerce. Using OttoFMS and Claris Connectis usually a much simpler process than using the supplied PHP files for the FileMaker Data API as you don't need to worry about hosting the files and dealing with web servers, PHP configuration changes, port forwarding etc.
