Can I Edit the Alt Tag for a Product Image

You cannot include an alt tag when uploading a Product from FileMaker to Shopify. To include an alt tag with a Product Image you need to update the image via a PUT command. We have included an example for editing the alt tag for an existing Product Image in Shopify  in v2.0.5 of fmEcommerce Link.

To edit the alt tag for a Product Image:

1. use the new ProductImages Form layout to find the Product Image you wish to edit

2. enter the required alt tag string in the Alt field highlighted here:

3. click the Update Product Image Alt Tag in Shopify button to upload the alt tag for the image to Shopify.
