Can I send an MMS from fmSMS?

fmSMS and fmMMS are two separate FileMaker solutions from Databuzz that are designed to send different types of messages from the Claris FileMaker Platform.

fmSMS was built to send SMS (Short Message Service or Text) messages from the FileMaker Platform. it cannot send media files (multimedia content such as images, QR codes, audio and video files). It wasn't designed to send MMS messages like fmMMS, as the process of sending outgoing MMS messages and receiving incoming MMS messages is typically quite different for most SMS/MMS Gateways compared to standard SMS messaging. 

fmMMS was built to send MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) messages from the FileMaker Platform (multimedia content such as images, QR codes, audio and video files). It wasn't designed to send SMS messages like fmSMS, as the process of sending outgoing MMS messages and receiving incoming MMS messages is typically quite different for most SMS/MMS Gateways compared to standard SMS messaging. 

If the SMS Gateway you are using with fmSMS supports MMS messaging you could certainly modify your copy of fmSMS to support media attachments.
