Are Classes and Departments/Locations Supported?
Yes – you can use the fmAccounting Link file to download Classes and Departments (also called Locations) that you have entered in QuickBooks Online. You control the use of these in the settings for your QuickBooks Online company:
We mirror these settings in the fmAccounting Link Preferences by clicking the Import Preferences button on the Preferences tab on the Company screen. Depending on the settings you will either be presented with a Class field at the Transaction level or the Transaction line items level.

N.B. if you make any changes to the settings for your Categories or add/delete Classes and Departments/Locations make sure you download the Preferences again and the Classes and Departments so the drop down lists and display options are correct in the fmAccounting Link file.
