fmAccounting Link (MYOB Essentials Edition) v2 Updates and Upgrades Policy

All fmAccounting Link (MYOB Essentials Edition) v2 Licenses include 12 months of complementary updates. You can purchase another 12 months of updates one year after your initial purchase or at any subsequent stage. This allows you to stay up-to-date with any changes to the MYOB API including deprecations as well as new features added to the fmAccounting Link file.

When a new version of fmAccounting Link (MYOB Essentials Edition) is released you can download this using the download link from your original order confirmation email - that link will always download the most recent version based on your purchase date of fmAccounting Link (MYOB Essentials Edition) v2 or the Maintenance extension. You can use a FileMaker developer tool like BaseElements or FMPerception to generate a comparison report between your original version of fmAccounting Link and a later update to identify the elements that have changed and need updating (we can also produce one of these using BaseElements for you if required).

If we release a new major version of fmAccounting Link this will be a paid upgrade. For example if you purchased v2.x of fmAccounting Link and we release v3 and you wish to upgrade to that version you will be able to upgrade to this for a significant discount. All customers will receive a discount coupon from us to use for upgrading to a later version when it is released.
